Really good place to eat and enjoy food. Food is really good ,tasty and fresh. Big selection of cocktails they all very tasty and nice. I visited with my friend, and both of us left very happy and full. Prices are OK, service is helpful and kind, good servers work there. Atmosphere is OK, nice place inside. Be back for sure, I will recommend to others 100%

Wasn’t easy to get a table but I can see why! This place is AMAZING loved the food and was very full when I got home. I had the pork tacos and they were beautiful. Also an extremely good cocktail menu, so tasty.

Went here the other day with a friend. We sat outside as the restaurant was fully booked inside – I’d recommend booking ahead for an indoor table, as outside was quite loud and the atmosphere wasn’t the best (though I appreciate that’s not really something the restaurant can control). We shared some nachos to start which were nice, though there was a bit too much pesto on them for my taste. For mains, we had enchiladas and burritos – both were really tasty and very filling. Overall, lovely food and worth a visit!

Really good food! Fresh, tasting with generous portions - we had skipped a meal so two mains and two sides had us full. £56 all up including a cocktail. Only thing was we seemed a little forgotten outside, and the front door kept slamming with people walking in and out on the wind. Arrived at an odd hour so could squeeze in - but would recommend a reservation. Would definitely recommend but would sit inside next time.

Absolutely fabulous. I been there (march 2025) with my husband, totally top top! The food is truly delicious. Their Mexican burritos are the best ( coming from a Mexican). I thoroughly enjoyed it. The decor is truly charming. The traditional Mexican decor is a plus, it made me feel like I was in Mexico, like I was at home Gem !!!

Chidoway Restaurant truly knows how to impress! Their tacos are bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors — perfectly seasoned meats, crisp vegetables, and soft, warm tortillas that tie everything together beautifully. Each bite feels like a little trip to taco heaven. And the churros? Absolute perfection! Golden and crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and served with rich, decadent dipping sauces that make it impossible to have just one. The combination of these two dishes is unbeatable — savory satisfaction followed by sweet bliss. If you’re at Chidoway, don’t leave without trying both. You’ll be dreaming about them long after you leave!

Some of the best if not THE best Mexican food I’ve ever had - so many different flavours and everything was so good. Lots of vegan options. Dog friendly - the waitress even brought them their own plate of chicken after coming and having some cuddles also very reasonably priced !
